Increasing
sales usually proves to be the easiest of the three steps for
boosting your bottom line. Whether you are an old pro or just
beginning in sales, the strategy that works every time
involves starting with a well-defined PLAN and sticking
to it.
When
I create a custom Website for an agent, I always identify the
agent’s existing plan or together we develop a successful
plan for increasing sales and / or listings. Then, the Website
I set up reflects the plan and actually guides and helps the
agent stick to it. That is the benefit of a custom Website and
why I refer to the Web as the hub of your marketing.
If
you see the benefits of working with a plan and would like to

If
Sales are not Soaring, It is Time to Evaluate
However,
for many agents, adding a Website to the marketing mix has not
increased sales. Instead the Web has increased costs and added
to time management overload. When that happens it is time to
evaluate and reorganize. It is helpful if you have a Web
designer who is also a marketing guru but if you do not, I

Almost
anyone can throw so much money into advertising that sales do
increase but the trick is to keep costs in the range of 10 to
20 percent of expected gross revenue. For example, if you
expect to generate $100,000.00 in gross revenue (before taxes
and expenses), a reasonable yearly marketing budget will be in
the $10,000 to $20,000 range. Another way to look at this: If
you are currently spending $500 a month, $6,000 a year on
marketing yourself, your expected gross (before expenses) is
in the range of $30,000 to $60,000 a year.
The
good news is that by using the Internet effectively, it is
possible to reduce your costs and still reach the income
levels you desire. And, the more effectively you use the
Internet, the lower your marketing and advertising costs will
go.

Master
Time Management
|
Want
to know a little secret about effective Time Management? In
today’s world, you can pick up hours and hours if you just
let Technology Do it For You. Now I can almost see many of you
cringing at the idea of having anything at all to do with
technology. So many people believe that technology is hard
that they stay as far away from it as they can get. But
here is the truth.
All
right, technology is hard but a good programmer can make it
fool proof and so easy that even an adult over 60 can use it.
And here are some ways you should use it, ways that will free
up hours and hours and help you Boost Your Bottom Line.
My
favorite is a monthly E-newsletter. You know that I am a
believer in E-newsletters and I practice what I preach. I
sincerely encourage you to practice E-newsletter marketing as
well. If you take advantage of our Custom Web Design services
or if you use the Web Wizard available in the Real Estate
Marketing Library, you will benefit from a monthly
E-newsletter that is sent automatically to your prospects and
past clients. You do not have to write it. You do not have to
remember to send it out. Is it effective? You bet it is!
Visit

including the E-newsletter option.
